Email Credits Explained

What Are Email Credits?
- When you use Smore’s Share with Email tool, each recipient = 1 Email Credit. Example: Sending to 100 people = 100 credits.
- Free Plan users get 3000 Email Credits per month.
- Premium Plans include unlimited newsletters and higher monthly email limits (based on the plan).

New Free Plan
- 3000 credits/month
Business Plans
- Basic: 10,000 credits/month
- Professional: 30,000 credits/month
- Business: 65,000 credits/month
Educator Plans
- Educator Basic: 5,000 credits/month
- Educator Pro: 15,000 credits/month
- Educator Premium: 30,000 credits/month
- Educator Elite: 150,000 credits/month
- Smore for Teams: 150,000+ credits/month for the entire team
⚠️ Keep in mind: If your contact list is larger than your email credit allowance, you won’t be able to send to everyone. Example: On Educator Basic (5,000 credits), if you have 5,100 contacts, you can only email up to 5,000 recipients that month.
FAQs
Q: If I delete a newsletter, do I get the credit back?
A: No. Deleted newsletters still count toward your limit.
Q: Can I send multiple newsletters to the same audience in a month?
A: Depends on your credits!
Example: With Educator Basic (5,000 credits), if you have 5,000 contacts, you can only send one newsletter per month to the entire list.
Q: Do unused Email Credits roll over?
A: No, they reset each month.
Q: When do Email Credits replenish?
A: Email Credits replenish on the last day of the month, for the upcoming month.
Example: Your November Credits will replenish on October 31st.
Q: If I email a listserv, how many Email Credits does it use?
A: Only 1 credit. However, if a single recipient unsubscribes, the entire listserv will be unsubscribed.
